[Who we are][What we do][Where we are]

Interested in what we are doing? Our programs are about flying in general, may it be our monthly meetings where we usually have speakers talking about different flying related subjects, or our Learn To Fly Saturday. We are also hosting events like B-17 visits at Vero Beach airport or our annual Aviation Day in spring, which grows bigger every year and is enjoyed by the whole community. Members enjoy socializing at our annual Christmas Party or watch the fireworks on July 4 from the great grassy spot on the airport.

The Learn To Fly Saturday




 

If you are dreaming to become a pilot, this is your chance to find out how!

Our members open their hangars and set up a flight simulator for you to try. See what makes airplanes fly or what it takes to build one. Talk to pilots and learn about the new affordable ways of flying. Our members are looking forward to answering your questions and helping you on your way of getting up in the air.
This no flight school, but more like an open house - and itīs FREE!

Pancake Breakfast & Social

Come to our meeting room for a complimentary pancake breakfast, whenever Learn To Fly Saturdays are held. More and more members are discovering Gene and Vernonīs food and just stop by for a chat.

Annual Aviation Day

 

Usually the first Saturday in February or March, Chapter 99 takes pride in displaying a wide variety of aircraft on static display. Model airplanes, aviation artwork, exhibits, food and much more ensure a day of good family entertainment. Photos ...

Social Events

 

Of course we like to get together for any reason that counts, such as our annual Christmas Party, our 4th of July picnic or simply hang out at the hangars.
